Why I NEVER Send HTML Emails

Why I Never Send HTML Emails

Look who sent it.

Apple… one of the biggest companies in the world.

Unfortunately for them, Gmail automatically blocks images. Makes me wonder… how many “@gmail.com” email addresses do they have in their database? Millions? Tens of millions?

Because with this (and many other emails), they essentially sent a blank email to millions of subscribers.

The money they left on the table would be enough to feed a small country.

This is why I never send HTML emails.

There’s too much room for error.

Sure, your email may look nice, but nice-looking emails don’t sell (especially when they don’t look nice after all).

The lesson?

Send text-based emails. Always. Every time. No exceptions.

Apple can get away with it because they’re one of the biggest companies in the world.

You can’t.

Happy Monday!
